Long Beach St. 49ers 4-4

Long Beach St. Starting Lineup:

G Donovan Morris Sr.
G/F Stephan Gilling Jr.
G/F Cornel Williams Sr.
C Brian Freeman Sr.

Key Bench Players:
G Larry Anderson Fr.
F Arturas Lazdauskas Jr.
F Eugene Phelps Fr.
F T.J. Robinson Fr.

Previous Game: Yesterday Long Beach played Weber St., they lost 72-63. Freshman T.J. Robinson led the team with 18 points and 10 rebounds. It was an unexpected explosion of offense from him. The game was tied at halftime then Weber St. used a 20-6 run in the second half to run away with the game. Another Freshman, Larry Anderson had 15 going 4-4 from the field and season leading scorer Donovan Morris chipped in 14.

Game Preview: Long Beach uses an 11-12 man rotation, they really like to change up the lineup. LB is also a very small team. They usually have a 4 guard lineup out there, never less than a 3 guard lineup. Expect Donovan Morris to try to take over the game, he averages 19 ppg and 3 apg. But he is inconsistent at times, @ Wisconsin this season he had just 12 points shot 5-17 from the field and was 0-5 from 3. The very next game he shot 7-10 from the field 3-5 form 3 and had 20 points. He is dangerous. Expect LB to shoot some 3's they have 10 guys that have shot a 3 this season, the main shooter is Stephan Gilling who is 23-63 from three, on his way to shooting over 180 threes on the season. Expect him to chuck it up, along with Donovan Morris who has shot 40 threes on the season. For Cuse look to see how much Devo plays, how he plays and what the situation with him does to how the team plays. Hopefully the suspension gets turned over, even if it's very doubtful.

My Prediction: Don't expect Devo's situation to change his status on the team (for now). Boeheim said so himself, Devo will start and he will play his normal time. This whole Devo thing has really overshadowed how well Jonny has been playing, the talk should be about him being a potential All-American. Expect him to remind us why he's one of the best there is, hopefully the team won't be sluggish after a long break. Cuse wins 86-66.

Final Score: 79-55 Syracuse
