Previous Game:  In their 7th straight away game, the Coppin State Eagles lost 57-46 @ Wisconsin.  Tywain McKee led the Eagles with 16 points, no one else scored double digits.

Game Preview:  A couple of games ago I said, Canisius is the worst team Syracuse will play all season, I lied.  Coppin State at 1-7 is worse, though a brutal schedule which includes 8 straight away games doesn't help.  Coppin State has one player that averages double figures in points.  Tywain Mckee averages 19 ppg, 4 rebounds and 3 apg, he is the Coppin State team in and of himself.  Syracuse needs to identify him and not let him get hot.  Also, Cuse needs to really rest the starters tomorrow, especially Flynn.  He needs it.  The second game with Devo being out, and most likely the last game, if all goes according to plan he should be back in time for the Big East opener v. Seton Hall.  Some things to watch for are, does Kristof actually get some significant PT after losing his starting job and playing virtually 1 second v. Memphis?  Does Rick Jackson continue his hot streak?  Does Arinze get back on track after a few subpar games?  Does Andy Rautins prove he should be starting over Devo when he returns?  Is Jonny Flynn 100%?  This game is not meaningless, it should give us answers on at least a couple of these questions.

My Prediction:  Coppin St. won't play at home until Jan. 14th.  Unfortunately for them their last away game in this stretch is against a very confident Syracuse team.  Walk-Ons make appearances, Cuse wins 87-63.

Final Score: 82-71 Syracuse
