Previous Game: In their second BE game projected BE "Bottom 4" dweller DePaul lost at Providence 62-54. Provy who was projected to be a possible NCAA tournament team, started the season off slow, but is now 10-4 and 2-0 in the BE. Dar Tucker had 12 points on just 4-17 shooting for DePaul, Weyinmi Efejuku led Providence with 18 points.

Game Preview: Back to the Dome we go. After a few tense moments @ USF Cuse pulled away for the 5 point win. The game was so close in part because of the lack of toughness that Syracuse usually uses against teams that are guard oriented. That is because Cuse was without do it all Paul Harris, who was able to play but decided to sit the game out with a minor hand injury, he should be back for this one. Just 12 points away from 1,000 points in his career. The key in this game against DePaul is the inside outside combo of Dar Tucker and Mac Koshwol two super sophomores. Dar Tucker is one of the best scorers in the Big East averaging nearly 20 ppg, he is a handful. Cuse needs to force him to pull up for jumpers, he is shooting just 32% from 3. Mac Koshwol is a beast inside and Arinze has to be ready because Koshwol is no push over. Koshwol is one of 4 players averaging a double-double in the BE. He is a very good player, very underrated. Expect a lot of 2/3 zone also, DePaul is the worst 3 point shooting team in the BE, shooting at a 27% clip. Cuse needs to pack that zone in and force them to shoot the 3 instead of dribble driving and giving it inside to Koshwol. Look to see if Andy Rautins can continue his hot streak also.

My Prediction: Cuse goes to 3-0 in the BE with a 80-68 win. Paul Harris becomes the 50th SU player of all-time to score 1,000 points in his career.

Final Score: 85-68 Syracuse
